Early in my DJ/producer journey, I put myself in boxes:
techno here, dubstep there, house over here.
I bought into the “pick a lane” mindset.

But why? We’re the same artist regardless of genre. Picasso didn’t stop being an artist because he switched tools.

Artists switch lanes all the time—some make new aliases, some don’t. Either way, it’s still them.

Last year something clicked: DJing should be no different.
There’s an entire world of music, yet we label ourselves “genre DJs.”

I’m not saying I want to play every stage—but if I did, why the fuck not?
Techno Friday. Jungle Saturday. Deep house Sunday. Still you.

So for 2026, there are no techno DJs, house DJs, or whatever DJs.
There are just DJs.

If you want to submit a mix outside your “norm,” we want to hear it.

MY PHILOSOPHY
I personally think with music, its about having fun! Too many artists take themselves seriously, forgetting why they do it in the 1st place. And don't understand people that only dabble in one genre, why be so closed minded? I've been into music all my life, come from a family of musicians and have been djing, mcing and producing for over a decade (although lets be honest, do you really care? lol!)
Just a few tracks to show what i get up to, most are just jam sessions and stuff we do for fun, all my close friends also make music in some form or other, whether its djing, mcing, singing, instruments, composing...whatever! And our way of hanging out is to jam, create, record.
