01 A Taste of Things to Come

Oddcore's premiere release. Live PA studio set. Recorded all in one take, the only things punched in later were backing vocals and MC Yoda's guest vocals. All original music except for two covers which are essentially remixes. Oddcore performed this set for "Oddcore Released" their first performance, at Blondies in Detroit. This presentation had MonkE engineering all the music, mixing the original tracks on the spot and adding effects, live instrumentation and sampling. PupB was on the mic, singing, dancing, changing costumes and keeping the crowd entertained and involved. This production was the original concept behind Oddcore, but recent high demands for performing live has made them broaden their delivery and now they also do live PA tag team sets. The tag team sets are compromised of revised samples and original loops, which are quicker to produce than original scores making it easier to have new material each time they perform, always bringing fresh sounds to an eager audience.

OddCore is collaboration of Pup-B (front woman, vocals, and music), and Monk-E based out of South East Michigan.  The two have been working in different forms of music long before coming together in the fall of 2005.  The first 4 years were much more then just a learning experience for the two before the finally hit the stage in May of 2011 at their premier show in Detroit, MI.
