Oklahoma City-based 80 Days found his way to music after life took an unexpected turn. Once a wrestler, he shifted gears after an injury and poured his energy into producing and DJing, now helping shape the growing dance scene in his hometown.

“Saint Martha’s” is a deep, hypnotic journey with rolling grooves, mind-bending atmospheres, and glowing, iridescent chords that linger long after the drop.

Chris Odium is a new face on the Dissident label roster, but he’s been a friend of the label (and on our musical radar) for a very long time! His deep, melodic releases on labels from Silk Music to Nuevadeep have delivered consistent inspiration and emotional moments for over a decade. His signature sound blurs lines between deep house, techno and progressive, and we’re really happy to welcome him to Dissident Music!

Augmented Reality soars with classic Detroit-style pad stabs, ethereal melodies, and whispered vox, all underwritten by a captivating Reese bassline and grooving drums. Emulated Emotions continues the story; led by a mesmerizing bassline and swung percussion, atmospheric pads and moody synths carry the vibe forward and level up the energy.

An artist who epitomises the modern underground dance industry, Michael A is as gifted as is he is affable. Returning to Proton Music for fourth original EP in the space of twelve months, it is a genuine honour to welcome him back to the label with "Aura Tears".

From the central-southern city of Mazyr, rich in natural resources, Mikhail Akulich has mined from a rich seam of talent through his Michael A moniker. One of his country's most exciting talents, the Belarusian producer continues to find himself at the vanguard of the underground scene with his distinctive blend of "progressive house and techno". A prolific artist, some 650 production credits sit proudly next to the Michael A name; a profound achievement given a commercial debut with a clutch of original releases for Sterofaza and Fluro Music in mid-2012.

Since then a panoply of original and remix production material has been within the catalogues of some of the finest modern independent imprints, not least in the February 2017 "Micrologica" EP for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat plus work for Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital and Cid Inc.'s Replug. Further original work for Mango Alley has also seen a high-profile remix from Australian icon, Jamie Stevens, while Akulich has also founded his own Genesis Music imprint to great effect and a regular vehicle for his production work. Hitting the Particles catalogues in late 2013, 2014's "Behind The Moon" was a notable highlight, as was March 2017's "Sapphire". Hitting Proton Music at the same time, a trio of original EPs have been spread across 2017 with "Bright Hope", "Symbol" and "My Style" all worthy of appearance on the flagship label. Now, Michael A returns to Proton with another original offering in the shape of "Aura Tears".

The title track is a beautifully sculpted piece that blossoms into a pulsating and driving anthem that is a perfect example of modern underground progressive house. Richly textured, floating pads and shining melody reveal themselves fully in the stripped breakdown before reaching a crescendo in the third movement, while a glorious bassline progression adds genuine purpose and interest in a work of great skill.

Revelling in similar melodic themes to its predecessor, "Ciklus One" is founded upon a strong rhythmic framework that supplies dancefloor interest in off-beat percussive cadence. Simultaneously a deep bass groove sparks low-end electricity while intelligent spacing within the mix and across the stereo spectrum highlights technique and mature production craft.

The final track continues the melodic tropes of earlier work as textured pads and shimmering motifs emerge over the seven-minute journey that coruscates brilliantly at the mid-point breakdown. Binding rhythm and melody together with bassline glue, a sublime groove keeps dynamism high accompanied by deep kick and ticking percussion.

Three new tracks find tears of joy rooted in Michael A's aura.

As always, the return of Ruede Hagelstein is inevitable and with each return he ups the ante tenfold showcasing his ever growing prowess behind the studio door. It seems as if, with each Ruede EP, the amount of elements utilized shrinks while at the same time the sound grows in power and dominance and that could not be better exemplified than here. 

Consisting of two originals and a remix from the one and only Martin Buttrich, the EP is a gross display of well thought out, mature dance floor jewels. Opening the short player is Hagelstein’s ‘Dematerialize feat. Justin Evans’ where a sinister yet soothing vocal sets the tone for the entire track, laying the groundwork for a gorgeous bass drum and shimmers of distant percussion carry us into celestial spaces. ‘Forward Vision’ is up next and follows suit by relying on a brooding minimal groove to drive the shimmers of glistening atmospherics and sparkling sonics optimal for dizzy and delirious club moments. 

Last but certainly not least we turn to the legend who is Martin Buttrich to twist the original ‘Dematerialize feat. Justin Evan’ into a more straightforward composition with his signature stylings opening the doors of accessibility to a wider demographic of disc jockeys resulting in a track that stretches the playability to a wide range of disc jockeys making it a stellar addition and ensuring the perfect variety to quench all desires.

'Naethan's return on Atmosphere Records was something inevitable and this second EP on our label named Celestial promises to be one of his best releases yet.

The first track on this EP could be called a pure Atmosphere Records release. Mesmerizing synth lines with a high energy level and an atmospheric break evolving into a strong drop, this is 'Celestial'. 

On this EP's B-side you can find 'Ayan' a track that could be a banger on his own.
This track is what progressive is all about, a never ending arpeggiated synth forming a robust foundation, topped off with a rhythmic percussion.

To finish off this EP we got another Atmosphere Records family member remixing Celestial.
Radeckt applied his signature sound on Celestial and this results in a true club banger!'

Oddity is an imprint curated and delivered by Fur Coat, focusing on melodic house and techno. Having begun to drive his career and sound in a deeper direction, the realization of his own label has given him the best platform to showcase this.

“Starting my own label is something that I´ve had in mind for a long time. It’s a platform to express myself and have 100% the control on the art concept I want to put on each release, the music I want to show from myself and the artists I share passion for, giving me the ability to invite them onto the label.

The label is giving Fur Coat the opportunity to explore artistically and promises to give a platform to new artists that fit with the sonic direction, whilst also inviting heritage talent onboard for remixing.
