I closed out my set for Rozland at 12AM with this track Saturday into Sunday! I tried to capture the feeling of the Sunday after a fun Saturday. Sunday is often the day of relaxation, and I always find myself replaying the events of the night before in my ever-so-busy ADHD mind.

I made this track in 90 minutes a few Sundays ago during a 90 minute beat challenge in my Discord server (hmu if you wanna join and do some beat challenges!)

Electronic producer Flako resides in London and has previously called Berlin and Chile home, but the lead track from his forthcoming Eclosure 12″ sounds as if it emerged from across the pond– specifically, from the burbling wonkiness of Los Angeles’ Flying Lotus-fronted Brainfeeder beat crew. Oftentimes, the sound that comes from Brainfeeder artists can resemble something of a locked groove, but “Honey Drips” opens up beautifully, dissolving into a soup of keyboard runs and tangled vocals.
