Ode In Black: My Angel

Ode In Black was formed in Kuopio in the year 2010. Charismatic lead singer Pasi (formerly known from Unskinny & Chevi Eye), guitarist-songwriter Iiro (formerly in Chevi Eye, Black Light Discipline & Burning Winter) and drummer Taisto (Rosy Dream & Chevi Eye) teamed up with guitarist Lauri (Infinia) and bass player Arto. As the band were almost ready to hit the stages, everything came to a sudden halt due to shocking news in the form of bass player Arto’s untimely death. In the months to come the band were scheduled to start recording their debut album. Finding a proper replacement was not easy, but Ukko (formerly known from Rakkauden Ammattilaiset) seemed a man fit to fill Arto’s boots. The line-up was however not yet complete; during the recording of the album guitarist Lauri left the band since he wanted to focus more on his other band, Infinia. One guitar player short and already in the midst of recording their debut album, the band found themselves lucky as help was found closer than expected. Iiro’s younger brother Juhani, a natural born lead guitarist joined the band and thus completed the line-up. Now, with the band’s both guitar players living in Tampere and the backbone of the band working together in Kuopio it’s time to take on Finland from two fronts!
