Through out the years this region has continually stayed 2,3 and 4 steps ahead leading in style, rhythm and originality IMO. Maybe it’s because the weather ain’t great and they stay indoors tirelessly crafting sonic masterpieces decade after decade…I don’t know? Whatever it is, I love the music and this mix is all about it. It was the most challenging set of this series I’ve put together. It starts quite fast but quickly dives head first into that broken beat Uk 2step party garage swing I love. Enjoi.

In 2002 I took my first trip to Brazil. I was given the opportunity to record live musicians to a composition of samples I had been sitting on for a few years. I would later carve these sessions into a composition known as The Garden. 
Here is the original session of musicians playing to the the sampled music before the song was fully realized. 

"The Audience's Following" is a 10 year anniversary fan club edition version of "The Audience's Listening." 
I like to call this the bizzaro version follow up to 'Audience' as it features songs that never made the cut and demo versions of songs that did. There are also b-sides from vinyl singles plus a special mix of the original song sampled for "What's The Altitude" by Curtis Knight. 
Have fun listening to the album that was almost released 10 years ago.
