Don’t be fooled by the serene beginnings. This version is a slow burner with a build-up that stretches the tension to just the right point before unleashing a deeply satisfying climax. Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas, sets sail on its tenth annual Summer Sol compilation, which collects together tracks from around the world. Focusing on organic house, it also features genres such as Afro house, deep house, downtempo, and deep tech.

It features 25 tracks that have roots in 17 different countries, and includes contributions from label favourites such as Sabo, Yamil, Mula, Giovanni Aparicio, Guy Maayan, Adwas, and DJ Phellix. There are also many Sol Selectas debuts, including the first ever official releases by the likes of Rameff, Matur, DBRA, and Basement Radio.

The compilation celebrates the day of the summer solstice, which is the year's longest day of sunlight. Embracing cultural diversity, it features tracks by artists with roots in Egypt, Iran, Tunisia, Greece, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, USA, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Poland, Indonesia, France, Germany, Israel, and Argentina.

Summer Sol's concept reminds us that under the sun's rays we are all equal, regardless of skin colour, gender, political allegiances or sexuality. This release is a celebration of how music brings people together, and that diversity is something to embrace with open arms.

Each of the tracks on this compilation have been hand selected by Sabo with the intention to uplift the body, open the mind, and touch the soul.

In addition to working with Sol Selectas, many of the artists on this release have also featured on other respected record labels such as MoBlack Records, Monaberry, Pipe & Pochet, Anjunadeep, Hoomidaas, Abracadabra Music, Cosmic Awakenings, 3000 Grad Records, Akbal Music, and many others of equal note.

All the previous Summer Sol releases have been top sellers on Beatport, and this landmark tenth edition is expected to be no different.

The artwork by Helia Jamali captures a desert oasis shimmering with warmth and wonder. A perfect invitation to dive into the waters of positive frequencies.

The ten-track album moves between slower listening tracks, emotional pieces, and more driving cuts, each created with patience and love. Contributions from Sister Sol and Paul Brenning add a unique layer to the album, bringing a human touch to the duo's otherwise electronic sound.

22:22 is a milestone release for both friends and their mothership label Reconsider Music.

Hailing from Jordan but now based in Spain, Fairplay is an alternative electronic duo characterized by an eclectic and deep approach. With this release on Zatar Music, Faisal and Fuad effortlessly merge sounds and styles, bringing together traditional North African / Middle Eastern influences with trippy, hypnotic grooves.

Teaming up with Houston, TX-based DJ and producer Omar Beik, their new track “Dinyeh” combines drones with lush string flourishes, hand drums, and a driving, techy groove.

The remix by David Mayer and Nico Stojan brings us even deeper into the extended, hallucinatory zone, building a deeply layered and atmospheric vibe perfectly complementary to the original.

“'Dinyeh' means 'the world' in Arabic, and that’s exactly what this track holds inside it," say Fairplay. “Blending warm Arabic textures with deep, driving rhythms, it moves between nostalgia and momentum.
The break is where everything comes into focus – emotional and cinematic, like a memory just out of reach. Dinyeh is a song about longing, movement, and the spaces in between; one foot on the dance floor, one in a dream.”

About the remix, David Mayer says: “My fellowship with Nico started long ago. We met in 2015 in New Zealand, where he offered me to remix ‘The Blue Hour’ feat. JAW for his album, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. After the Fling EP and several other originals in the pipeline, the Fairplay remix is our first remix together. We created the sketch in a bubbly one-nighter and had loads of fun.”

Rebellion welcomes Italian-born artist Cristian Viviano for his label debut with ‘Tu Destino’, a three-track EP showcasing his deep-rooted passion for analog and digital fusion within the studio. Following recent appearances at Hï Ibiza alongside label boss Damian Lazarus, Viviano delivers a trio of expressive cuts that speak to his eclectic style and rich musical background. Known for his versatile sound and powerful DJ sets, his previous releases have landed on respected imprints including Paradise, Hottrax, Get Physical, Maccabi House and his own Descending Order label. Here, he unveils three cuts that encompass his wide-reaching sound with an impressive first outing on the label.

“I poured a lot of passion into this EP. I'm a lover of analog gear, but I never underestimate the potential of digital tools; in fact, I often find blending both worlds incredibly inspiring. ‘Tu Destino’ is the banger of the three; it always gets a great reaction on the dancefloor. The vocal sits perfectly on a groove crafted with both analog machines and VSTs. ‘In This World’ is a fusion of emotions, layered over a deep, driving rhythm. The vocal and brass elements fill the space and your heart, creating a rich, immersive vibe. Last but not least, ‘Runaway’ is what I’d call the super cool one of the EP. War Ende der 80iger mal DJ und hatte zusammen mit einem Freund eine "Rollende Disco". "Odyssey Show Disco" haben wir uns genannt. Irgendwann dann kamen neue Interessen und wir haben das ganze aufgelöst. Der Name ist geblieben. Habe früher auch schon Remixe unter Odymusic gemacht. Nun auch als Oldmix und KL's-Mix veröffentlicht. Dann war eine ganze Zeit lang Ruhe...keine Zeit, kein Geld, keine Lust... aber im November 2021 habe ich wieder angefangen Musik zu machen! 
Mein Markenzeichen ist wohl hier der strukturlose Songaufbau!! :-P

Was a DJ at the end of the 80s and had a "rolling disco" together with a friend. We called ourselves "Odyssey Show Disco". At some point, new interests came along and we broke it all up. The name stayed. I used to do remixes with Odymusic. Now also as Oldmix and KL's-Mix published. Then there was silence for a while... no time, no money, no desire... but in November 2021 I started making music again!
