Here, original 70/80's jazz-funk/disco-soul combo Odyssey have re-recorded some of their best-known hits and fan favourites in the company of London producer Yam Who. They're lucky in some regards that they're in the company of a talented and sympathetic producer, because in the wrong hands "Legacy" could have been a dog's dinner. As it is, it works brilliantly, with now familiar favourites like "Use It Up & Wear It Out" and "Inside Out" given tasteful but distinctly different updates that should appeal to die-hard fans and newcomers alike.

Patrick Cowley did not forget his friend Sylvester when things did not go very well for Sylvester. So he wrote and produced this track (Do You Wanne Funk) for him and Sylvester became famous (again)....

Odyssey, now led and fronted by Steven Collazo is originally a New York-based {now UK-based} band which began as the Connecticut-born "Lopez Sisters" group, featuring Steven's mother, Lillian (Lillian Lopez Collazo Jackson, Louise Lopez and Carmen Lopez, the latter having left the group before Odyssey, as the act would come to be known after her departure, was conceived. The group continues to record and perform worldwide.
