This ethos is epitomised by UK techno stalwart Ben Sims. Having been prolific since the late ‘90s Ben Sims is the quintessential techno artist. His discography reads like a who’s who of techno labels while his own imprints like Hardgroove, Theory or Symbolism have helped shape the modern techno landscape. What can we say about Ben’s utterly insane skills on the decks? His tooly, looping mixing style spellbinds all those that bear witness to his DJ sets and the different styles that Ben has managed to cram into his podcast for DifferentSound Records is just a taster of what to expect from him…

This man hardly needs an introduction. Jeroen Search embodies a clear and honest interpretation of techno music. Known for his genre defning inimitable sound and energetic performances as well as truly inspirational live-sets, he has always kept himself at the very edge of contemporary techno. Consistently releasing high quality music since the mid- nineties, Jeroen is always right at the sharp end of the techno-spectrum. This can be found in his releases on his own imprint Search, as well as on labels such as Axis, Token, KEY vinyl, and Figure, to name a few. While continually evolving, his music always remains true to that typical Search-sound. In 2021 Jeroen contributed music for a conceptual modern dance project for the famous Pinacoteca Museum in São Paulo, Brasil. He also took part in a theater show working with a choreographer, dancers and an video artist, performing his liveset combined with modern dance and visuals.
