Windfuhr is a Berlin based DJ and @eerstecommunie resident. 

His sound is hypnotic, energetic and full of fast rolling rhythms. To connect with people but also to disconnect from reality. On the dance floor he becomes one with the audience and establishing a dialogue between them. It is a language that leaves space to interpret your own story.

He wants the audience to get hypnotize by the sound, enter that euphoric state of consciousness and not wanting to stop dancing.

Continuously trying to exceed his own limits, MARRØN employs fast rhythmics inspired by his roots. The artist’s moniker pays homage to the strong-willed MARRØN’s, a once-enslaved African tribe who defied oppression and found freedom in the primeval forests of Surinam. The hypnotic, percussive beats characterizing MARRØN’s foundational Afro Deep style have evolved to form a singular conception of techno. His dynamic take on the genre is at home in the underground, most notably in his role as co-founder and resident of Amsterdam’s Eerste Communie.

I am usually not a fan of sharing online the experience of a live set. The emotion, energy and aurea of that moment is something that cannot be grasped with a simple click. 
However, since the moment I touched the decks during this mix, I intuitively knew it was going to be something special… something which I would be happy for those who were not there to partially feel, listen and enjoy. This set includes a selection of my favorite tracks from this year -some older some newer- and all fundamental to create a linear, coherent story.

Taking over the show this week, elusive German producer and Vault Sessions / BCCO resident DJ Phil Berg pulls out the big guns and vibes-avalanching blends for what can be called a proper feast in sound. Drum-fuelled tribal grooves, rugged early house manoeuvres, possessed machine funk, Berg runs the hoodoo down like a thrill-deprived stuntman, eager to pack the world’s whole field of energies in just two hours of music. We’re approaching the end of 2022, a year in which a lot has flourished and we were allowed to dance with you again without restrictions! To close off this year we’re back with the annual December Series where we invited four artists to showcase their sound, every week until the new year starts.

The last podcast of the year will be provided by an artist who almost doesn’t need an introduction anymore; the French DJ and producer Antigone. Over the past decade Antigone’s music has been highly acclaimed; with releases on labels such as Pole Group, Token, Trip and WSNWG to name a few, his discography speaks for itself. Still being at the forefront of the French techno scene, Antigone nowadays is also mentor for a whole new generation of electronic music producers and dj’s.

@boris is kind of a charismatic, multifunctional weapon in the Berlin club life. His musical roots reach back to the mid 80s, when he lived in New York for four years where he absorbed the unique spirit of the seminal club Paradise Garage weekend after weekend. From the Club’s mentor Larry Levan Boris learned to believe in his musical intuition as well as a broad musical spectrum, which nowadays ranges from Disco, Hi-NRG, Post-Punk and (Kraut-) Rock to House and Techno, all of which Boris loves to throw into one set. “Music was most important for Levan. He was uncompromising and he knew how to convey it. That’s what I’m trying to achieve, too, when I’m djing.”

Many years later, Boris became a resident at Panorama Bar’s first incarnation in Berlin, where he was able to build a loyal following by playing long sets lasting until noon. “The crowd is always a lot more receptive for music at the end than at the beginning. That’s when I rather have the opportunity to present unusual stuff and that’s when I’m able to let my feelings run freely.”

After the old OstGut/Panorama Bar closed in 2003, Boris played in almost every club in Berlin, but when the follow up club Berghain opened its doors in 2004, he quickly focused on playing out here again. From 2005 till 2010 he had another musical platform, as he was taking care of the label Careless Records as an A&R. As a DJ, he is not exactly keen on refining a certain genre, but rather to push music with a certain twist.

@mikekonstantinidis is a Greek DJ and Producer. His passion for electronic music/techno started early in his hometown, Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2017, he moved to Berlin to pursue his music career internationally. The roots of his musical selection are from the 90s and 00s techno movement. Mainly he is working on his production in his studio to release new music.

VSONNTAG is a DJ from Leipzig. She started DJing techno in 2019. In the meantime, she has already played in well-known clubs like Tresor and Rote Sonne. Since 2023 she has been part of Sinus Agency. Her tracks are constant and driving, with rhythmic elements. With a combination of energy and groove, she has conquered the hearts of the techno community.
