Somov Records head Ignez is up next with an unmissable techno number that’ll make you sweat. A younger self dropped the stuffy confines of his childhood on the Dutch coast and fled to Berlin as so many do, and there began to cultivate a sound that has placed him firmly among some of his talented and much talked about peers. The DJ/producer credits the seaside upbringing with instilling a deep respect for the rolling tides and endless sands, natural references that are deeply embodied in his hypnotising and immersive rhythms. His occasional return to home turf as resident of Amsterdam-based party series Eerste Communie has also played a significant role in his musical development and found him willing publishers in the likes of Token and SK_eleven, as well as a sparring partner in Berlin heavyweight Rødhåd (with whom he shares two EPs). It’s techno in purest form, bewitching loops that pulsate like those long ago shores. In that sound his ascetic beats are flanked by the most minimal detail and rely on raw percussive might to mesmerise his listener. A dancefloor portal to another world; transcendent stuff for sure. From small club settings to festivals on a larger scale Ignez brings a kind of magic that’s hard to turn a deaf ear to, Bassiani Podcast 220’s proof that he’ll pull those tricks at home too. A hour of virgin, mechanical beats that daze and enthral, a staunch reminder of techno’s visceral power and of why, for so many, it’s such a ruling passion.

Poland born and Manchester based DJ and producer, began his journey into electronic music as a teenager through listening to music and raving in his hometown of Olsztyn. After moving to Manchester in his early twenties he began to explore DJing and producing of various genres of electronic music under a different alias.

In 2021 he established his new alias, SKZ, which focuses strictly on hypnotic, textured, but still very driving techno.
He’s the co-founder of the event series, podcast and platform, Refractiøn, and is also the person responsible of releases on ‘’PTL’’ by Polish Techno.logy where he also become a new resident. After years of working behind the scenes Adrian starts releasing music in 2022 nad quickly gain music support from names like Takaaki Itoh, Tensal, Svreca, Lakej and many more. In 2025 Adrian starts his own label ,, Arya '' and change his moniker ,,SKZ '' to his real name.

This is the 8th episode of our monthly podcast 'Nachtstrom Sessions' mixed by Oliver Rosemann!

Oliver is a German techno artist who has been exploring his sound for many years. Over the time, he has made numerous releases on the most famous labels in the scene. Including many 12“ records, studio albums and also remixes for respected artists.

His music is characterized as dark, dirty and hypnotic. You can hear his tracks at the hands of the most famous DJs in clubs around the world. Or by himself, he is also traveling internationally and playing DJ sets or live sets.

Since 2021 he has been running the label “Recorded Things”, which has since gained a strong reputation among new and established artists. Here you can also recognize the sound that Oliver distributes.

Music connects like-minded producers in the scene so Oliver is involved in various collaboration projects. He works with Pfirter, Alexander Kowalski and Jonas Kopp and has released plenty of EPs with them.
