The town square hums with whispered thought,
A language learned, a lesson taught.
But a void follows where she walks,
A silent space where no one talks.
They call her strange, they call her cold,
But her mind is still, her heart is free,
A silent world for only she.

Why has Elara become silent?
Is it a choice, a grand design?
Is the noise too loud, 
Or is her peace a sign?
She holds a secret, a quiet key,
To a world that they can't see.
The music's gone, the words are few,
But in the quiet, she is true.

She played the bells, a magic tune,
Under the light of a pale moon.
It healed the town, it made them whole,
But stole the pieces of her soul.
The melody was a draining cost,
A part of her forever lost.
So she laid the hammer down,
And traded magic for a silent crown.

They ask her why she won't sing out,
Why she lives with so much doubt.
But the truth is not for them to know,
Some seeds of silence need to grow.

The echoes fade, the bell is still,
A peaceful quiet on the hill.
Elara's silence, a final grace,
