Open Finger is a Broken Finger on katupunkkia ja hardcorea sekoitteleva viisihenkinen bändi Helsingistä. Bändi on ollut koossa jo vuodesta 2005, mutta keikkailut yms. aloittanut vasta 2007. Yhden demon ja Backstreet Yobs nimisellä kokoelmalla esiintymisen jälkeen, bändi sai vihdoin julkaistua debyyttinsä Love, Jealousy And Hate 2013/2014 vaihteessa. Debyytti on omakustanne. Open Finger is a Broken Finger was formed in the fall of 2004. Band started their journey by playing some covers and after a while it was obvious that band wanted to play fast punkrock/streetpunk influenced music that had raw lyrics and lots of melodies. In the summer of 2005 Vave invited his army buddy Johannes who had played drums in his former bands to a training/drinking session. After few bottles of booze band decided to ask Johannes to play bass and Johannes agreed (nowadays Johannes plays drums and Arde plays bass). Band had no name until 2007 when Vave came up with the old Kung-fu phrase "open finger is a broken finger". Everyone was so tired of thinking a name for the band so they all agreed more or less. First OFBF gig was in the summer of 2007 at the certain football clubs party at the BAR 10.
