For the second output of e s p e r p e n t o, Francesco Baudazzi evokes his enigmatic and esoteric side project Violet Poison after being part of the first Various Artists release as Red Lodge.

ESPER002. includes 5 original tracks plus a stomper Remix by the Liber Null founder Unhuman.
Each track recalls the pleasure and disorientation resulted in perceiving the ruthlessness of the sea and its stillness right after. Retro-futuristic and cinematic elements, wistful melodies and mutant beats emerge from the marine environment tied to Violet Poison homeland .
It is not without reason that the Ep title is inspired by ""The Rime of the Ancient Mariner"" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1798), a tale about a sea voyage with no return because of the uncontrollable power of nature and the misfortunes caused by the killing of an Albatros.
The poem’s atmosphere too is connected with the eerie depictions and the deforming imagery of e s p e r p e n t o.

Electronic Emergencies is delighted to announce a new release, scheduled for the dark days of December: 'Lune Atroce' by Ayats-Thorvald

Lune Atroce is a five track 12-inch on green vinyl by techno and electro laureates Marc Ayats and Jørgen Thorvald, famous for their work for the legendary A-TRACTION Records, among others.

The collaboration of Ayats and Thorvald results in a stomping electro/EBM-banger, fuelled by absinthe and inspired by the poetry of Rimbaud and a great friendship.

Apart from 2 different versions of Lune Atroce by the masters themselves, the release contains 3 other remixes: one by emerging French producer Voltaire (@voltaire0music), one by techno hero Southsoniks (@southsoniks) and the final one by Swedish EBM legend Celldöd (@celldod).

Prepare to turn the heater off (or your shirt) when Lune Atroce is played in the club!

Lune Atroce is limited to 300 absinthe-green vinyl copies. The digital release also contains a radio edit as bonus track.

The word “Incendiary” is defined as “(something) designed to cause fires”. And this was the first impression we had when listened to the remix Armenian producer Fedor Feoktistov aka Meshes did for the title track of the forthcoming release on the British label and event series Khoinix. Lyon-based artist NZM 99 brought to life three hell-flame-infused cuts and invited some friends for the remix duties: Besides Meshes, The Undertaker's Tapes and NOTAUSGANG also delivered fiery interpretations of the already too-hot-to-trot originals.

Let’s focus on the man of the hour and the remixer we chose to premiere, shall we? Both NZM 99 and Meshes have a sonority that is intended to wreak havoc on packed dance floors. Featuring a fusion of Industrial, EBM, Dark Techno, and Dark Disco, the work of the young talents is far, far away from fluffy, it simply does not fit with pool parties and beach clubs, but with dirty basements and clandestine venues/raves. Kudos!

For his take of “Requiem Of Art”, Meshes started speeding things up a little bit, from 130 to 132 BPM. A small, but essential change to help him reach his goal (setting things ablaze). Most of the main elements from the original were kept, however, Meshes’ touch brought the theme to a more energetic and less riotous path, turning it less chaotic and, yeah, more incendiary!
