Storming his way back onto Drumcode Luigi Madonna closes off the Summer with a four track smasher that will see him welcome in Autumn with a bang. Each track contains the solid, raw drums that are the backbone to each track Luigi has conjured up. With a brooding undertone, the simplicity found in each track gives the lead lines and ideas more space to breath, which overall creates a unique and charismatic submission that can only be found from the Italian.

Alex Niggemann’s AEON label mirrors the peak time DJs sets that the supremely talented Berliner plays, staying focused on conjuring up the spirit of classic and timeless house and techno, updating it and creating new boundless possibilities for the future. Since launching the label in 2013 Alex has been gradually building a family of like-minded creative individuals to keep the AEON ethos moving ever forward.
This time it’s AEON 19, and yet another melodic milestone in which Niggemann welcomes back Denis Horvat to lead us on a journey into the territory of ambient, driving techno. Achiev- ing two original tracks, and a remix to suite his ever-growing trademark of deep, melodic sounds, Denis again showcases the true quality of what Alex’s label stands for.
‘Apart’ is a dark and eerie track that combines pulsing me- lodic synths with a dissonant array of percussion and FX. The track forever progresses, winding its way upward and downward throughout, with a defining change in atmospher- ics halfway through his electronic industrial fused journey.
Along with the original by Denis, Hyenah gives us his own spin on the dark fused sounds of Niggemann’s imprint.
Whilst following a similar driving, moody groove, he welcomes a fresh element of tribal grooves, along with a lighter array of pads and stabs that gives listeners a whole new approach to that of the original mix.
As with previous releases, it is customary with AEON releas- es, that the B-Side, in this case ‘Cougar’, takes things into deeper territory, with a rolling bass line and a deep percussive groove. Accompanied by sharp white syncopated hats, and a mesmerizing arpreggiated synth, this track certainly main- tains to build on the foundation in which Denis strives to work towards with his style and sound.
AEON is a home to cutting-edge artists who are bold enough to breathe life into their productions with true emotion. AEON stands for people who walk their own path, who dance just the way they feel, celebrating and being passionate about what they do without following hype, or rules, or trends.

After Micky’s experience with wide range of music genres like rock, jazz, and blues, while performing as a guitar player in a local band in Israel, he decided he needs to deliver his own perception of music. His attraction to psychedelic trance started in 2007 when he was charmed by the power and energy of this spiritual music. after few years of absorbing different electronic music genres, GeneTrick came to life in a form of Progressive Psychedelic Trance.
Upon Listening to GeneTrick’s psychedelic visions of sound, you will find that his inspirations gave him unique ideas & hooks for his music. With his massive and pumping psy-gressive sets GeneTrick contributed to the success of a number of events around the world.

On our way to Ozora this Saturday afternoon our guide will be GABRIEL LE MAR of Saafi Brothers, who you can catch this summer both at Pumpui and The Dome.

GABRIEL LE MAR is a music producer, living in Frankfurt/Germany, releasing electronic music with a special focus on deep DubTech sounds and Dub inspired TechHouse.His mission remains the same today: exploring electronic music with a dub mindset. With an open mind and always in a search for fresh musical experiences, Gabriel Le Mar likes to integrate himself in different artistic constellations with his dub-inspired TechHouse project Dublocation as well as with the artistic collaboration with Dr. Motte. With his projects Saafi Brothers and Aural Float, Gabriel composed ambient, space and experimental sound scapes.
With Aural Float he worked on audiovisual concepts: as a team they did the artistic supervision of SPACENIGHT, a prototype of a TV-concept, utilizing spectacular film- and documentary footage from outer space with music made on earth. SPACENIGHT became a success on german television and soon reached cult status among the young night watchers until today. On his albums Gabriel produced tracks that are tailored for the dub inspired clubber, combining different playful approaches of Dub with the functionality and stringency of techhouse music. Bridges are built by energetic and minimal grooves. Solo and with his projects Gabriel Le Mar appeared at festivals like Time Warp, Deichbrand, Merkwürdiges Verhalten, Pollerwiesen, Reworks, Roskilde, Sziget, Tribal Gathering, Fusion, Hadra, Ozora…

THE SOUND OF GABRIEL LE MAR On the floor Gabriel is playing a set with live-overdubs that always celebrate the moment in a jam from DeepTechHouse and Techno. His DJ sets are traversed by soulful and minimal nuances. “Live i like using little mixers and other sound control tools in order to do real-time sound changes paying respect to the fact that every live situation has it´s own dynamics concerning the people, the acoustic situation in the room and of course emotional states of the people and me. I like using both: analog media like turntables and cd-players as well as digital equipment that makes it easy for me to bring the sound of my studio to and on the floor. Concerning energy and flow I love going through waves – flowing grooves, sometimes pushing and forcing, and deep soundscapes that make you dance and feel.”

The latest installment from Roam Recordings comes from the impeccable Belgian producer Cabaret Nocturne who has previous releases on labels such as Beachcoma, My Favorite Robot, Nein, Factor City, and Rotten City. Cabaret Nocturne has been penning fusions of ‘80s pop, dark basslines, and unhinged house beats since the mid-noughties. His new EP for Roam Recordings is a fine addition to his already excellent discography. The title track Western Ghost sets the stage for this EP that sounds like it could be from a movie set somewhere in the desert outside of LA which makes it a perfect fit for a West Coast American label. The other original track Lost Town brings that idea home with its added guitar and surfer vibe key changes.

We're willing to put good money on Dixon's remix of 'The Dawn' being a staple of his summer sets this year and it's a pretty good bet. 

His remix puts a growling, fierce new take on the original and he swaps delicate tones for rumbling bass hits and synths that propel and drive the track forward with an intensity only he can conjure up.

An outstanding EP all round and a remix from Dixon that ranks as one of his best to date.
