All original lyrics and music, highly stylized with flavors of Rock, Funk and Reggae. The four original members, Jon Schumaker (guitar/vox/bass), Nathan Noble (drums/percussion), Layne McKay (sax/guitar) and Sean Burress (bass/guitar) grew up playing music together in Polson, Mt. Newly added member Kyle Daugherty from Woodinville, Wa brings the smooth sound of trombone to the mix. Off in the Woods rolls with sax & trombone harmonies, searing guitar leads, rock'n world rythms, funky bass and soulfull vocal melodies. They've been dubbed "Montana Soul".
