Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Marteka Fair' track remixed by JAK on 'Vast Recordings'.

As rich sonically as it is in social commentary, Marteka Fair’s latest techno EP is a perfect fit for the budding discography of VAST.

Marteka Fair is from North Carolina, and the American DJ and producer is a key part of the local scene co-creating Liminal Space, a live concert series with visual artist Fluxxss that merges sound and image into a shared, sensory environment. 
She has not only appeared on club and festival line-ups alongside Rrose, Rødhåd, DVS1, and Bloody Mary, but also lists releases on Berlin’s W133, Infra, and Maison Fauna, while being behind the A&R for VAST’s releases.

The Life After Internet EP consists of four tracks along with remixes by Bekkler and JAK. 
It draws inspiration from a time when the information revolution lay at our fingertips, promising what seemed at the time like a utopian frontier of human connection.


Rounding out the original singles appearing on the tracklist of the EP is “Frisson.” 
While markedly more melodic than the music preceding it, its arrangement meanders in a way that might sound random to the untrained ear. 
JAK expanded upon this complex emotional palette in his remix, spinning it into the lore of an exhilarating story.

Coming in hot off their latest Watergate Mix Adana Twins deliver their first EP stemming from the mix itself putting what could be the standout track off the compilation: their remix of Patrice Bäumel’s ‘Roar' front and center. '24th April 2020 sees relentless Rome-based selector and label owner Frankyeffe release his Rave Alarm EP. This essential three-track project arrives as the Italian DJ/producer’s second issue on Northern Irish imprint, Misfit Music.
 
Proving himself as one of the most prolific DJs on the planet, Italian techno sensation, Frankyeffe is yet to roll back his unstoppable streak. Just three weeks after his hypnotic Hear Me EP on Coyu’s Suara, he’s back to announce his brand-new Rave Alarm project – his fourth in EP of 2020. Branded with the Belfast-based label’s trademark geometric artwork, Rave Alarm succeeds Frankyeffe’s 2019 label debut, Fire Stone EP. Frankyeffe, who also heads up his own Riot Recordings label, has previously featured on the likes of Senso Sounds, JAM, We Are The Brave, Filth On Acid, Tronic, Kraftek and Terminal M.

Re-establishing his domineering approach to dance music, title track, ‘Rave Alarm’ blasts off carrying impenetrable depth and intensity. Pounding drum patterns and staccato, laser-style synths command Franyeffe’s familiar powerhouse production. ‘Respect’ follows and pulses with static synth arrangements. Reverberated tonal interludes separate the dense melodic continuity.
