Even though Nils Penner, also known as one half of Penner + Muder, is not a new name in this business this is his first release on Exploited and guess what? It couldn’t be a better fit.
Penner, originally from Bremen, brings his unique sound which comprises a flawless and balanced mix of deep house, heavy grooves and well thought-out basslines. After releasing on labels such as Freerange, Suol and Compost Black Label, Penner succeeds to amaze again.

The two tracks on this new single are each other’s perfect supplement. They both breath out the light-heartedness that is an ideal fit for the beginning of Spring.
While „Bubbles” will put a smile on everyone’s faces with its feel-good rhythms, „The Thing” is an undeniable clubtrack with a nice old-school vocal that will get you and the ones around you dancing.

Mat.Joe sure had an impressive breakthrough ride last year including worldwide recognition, endless touring schedule and an impressive catalogue of tracks and remixes including acclaimed eps in OFF which quickly scouted them as core artists. 2014 started as busy as expected for the Berlin duo, with tracks and remixes in Suara, Stil Von Talent and our own 5 year talent compilation. Hot as they are, we thought this was a good time for another EP, and they delivered an impressive pair of floor movers with their usual versatility and good taste.
"Way Too Bad" shows their sampling skills with a rolling groove full of soul that swirls nicely over funky drums and a killer bassline. 

On the b side, "Brighton Beach" shows a deeper, thoughtful escapade, with synth keys and arpeggios slilding into a big boom bass creating an uplifting vibe for a very special time in the night. 

Both tracks capture the essence of Mat.Joe while being perfect tools for different moments and feelings. Another true gem from the OFF camp!

Dino Lenny wrote the original record thinking about a couple he once met in New York. This couple was rather particular as the man, who was in his mid forties, loved shiny vinyl shoes, Soul Black Music and women. His wife knew all of this but just kept on hoping he would have eyes just for her at some point. She lived day by day, worked at a local cafe and waited for something magic to happen.
Luckily they had something very poetic in common: their favourite record.
When this same record appeared to be the key in the magic moment the wife had been waiting for, a beautiful story awaited the two. They lived the rest of their days just as if they jumped out of their favourite song.

With this beautiful and original back-story, Exploited is proud to present 2 new remixes. Sander Kleinenberg’s reshuffle we just couldn’t resist to release. So we will spare you the words and suggest you just have a listen.

Joshi Mami’s take on the track is just a bit deeper without losing the poetic background and vocals. Even though the original story takes place in New York this remix brings you to a fast car drive on the Miami highway at night.

EdOne & Bodden's first appearance in OFFSPIN was stellar, their track DO IT seemed to be stuck to the top selling charts reaching number 1 remaining there for months. From then on they became one of the most seeked after production teams around getting signed in huge form by labels like Defected or Suara. 

Well, we don't like to wait for things to cool down here so while their first hit is still making the rounds on the best dancefloors around, we asked the spanish duo to deliver their first EP on the label and they quickly got excited with the idea and sent us three amazing tracks showing all their bass-driven magic. 

"All you find" explores their soon-to-be trademark sound of garage induced bassline over jacking beats topped with the right dose of strings, synths and vocal stabs, everything wrapped in a whirlwind of emotional club frenzy.

"Come to me" takes a darker approach while still relying on a groovy house beat using wobble synth bass and more delicious vocal and string work, a more laidback groover still for those intense moments of the night. 

"Keep On Moving" dives deep into garage territory and offers an addictive percussive trip with tons of mood changes, vocals, synths and an overall feel good piano vibe. 

This duo proves once again that they will most likely stay warm for a very long time!

This November will see MadTech Records return with its twenty fifth release, this time coming courtesy of Kry Wolf who offers up ‘Orbit (Give It Up)’ accompanied by a South Royston remix.
Hotly tipped duo Bill Francis & Lewis Darvill aka Kry Wolf have been carving out quite the blossoming career over the past three years, unleashing material via their own Sounds Of Sumo imprint to critical acclaim, and recently via Food Music another creation coming from the duo alongside Shadow Child. Amongst the duo’s highly praised material, other recent notable accolades are appearances at fabric London, Bestival and Ministry Of Sound. Here we see the duo push on with a release via Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records imprint, following EP’s from the likes of No Artificial Colours, Mia Dora and Celsius.
Opening things up is title cut ‘Orbit (Give It Up)’, seeing the pair fuse crunchy rhythms, dreamy atmospherics and bright bell chimes to create a cosseting atmosphere. While the wandering chord sequences, amalgamation of murmuring vocal lines and penetrative sub-bass tones add an insistent energy to the composition. The second original from Kry Wolf follows, entitled ‘Church Road Shuffle’, and as the name would suggest we’re treated to a bumpy swinging rhythms as the driving force, while a chuggy square wave bass hook, resonant synth licks and raw stab hits put a darker spin on things.
The package is then rounded off with a remix from another British duo, namely South Royston who reshape things with a more hook-driven feel, enlisting the originals punchy bass hook and mesmeric pad lines while adding their own take to things with stripped-back, rumbling rhythms and a smooth progressive feel.

Kry Wolf’s ‘Orbit (Give It Up)’ EP is out on MadTech Records 10th (Beatport) 23rd (General) November 2014.
