Interrupted Dream, he's staring at the ceiling, and he leaves with the rising sun. 
In his head is unknown and often times he's alone, when he's with everyone. 
He's distressed by the past and thinking about the future, as the cars go flying by.
He's lost in his mind at this moment in time, he closes his eyes and he sees the sky.

Looking back and walking forward.
If it's stuck in your head, what good is your word?
It's always been, it always will be.
Attached and dependent how can we be free?

It's too steep to climb, wrapped too tight to unwind, he's never gonna get what he's trying to find. 
The answers are all there, he looks up and he stares under the fiery reflection of the moon. 
The fires in the sky, and people passing by, now he wonders why we do the things we do?

When you're feeling blue, you've got to ride it, not hide it.
When you're feeling like you, ride it, don't you ever hide it.
Sometimes you may feel abused by the pirates, the dirty tyrants.
You know what you've got to do? Never-mind them...

You know there's so much left to know beyond political boundaries.
You know there's so much room to grow, but you sit and watch T.V. 
Will the people ever know how much there is to see?
So much left to try, so many thoughts to be conceived.

Often I sit and wonder why...
In retrospect of the moment passing by...
So many thoughts I was denied,
before I opened my third eye.


When you're feeling blue, ride it.
When you're feeling like you, never hide it.
Sometimes you may feel abused, you want to fight them.

Ride It

There are grey skies overhead, and I see is the green in the trees and the sunlight peaking through the clouds.
And I wonder

Why do people focus on the negative things? 
When there’s positive all around


I try to keep my mind strong
Even when others are doing wrong
Even though it’s right in front of me
I focus on the positivity


Now there’s blue skies overhead, and you can see the green in the leaves and you ask yourself why didn’t we see? How did we miss the positivity?

Everyday when I wake, I think the same old thing, and I’m starting to think, it’s time for a change.
Everyday when I rise, I begin to comprise, a list of things to do for the day.
And it grows and it grows and it grows, and I suppose all this stressin just ain’t for me

I’m Alright, I don’t mind, as long as I’ve got the music by my side
I’m okay, it’s a better day, as long as I get to hear the music play

Everyday I’m at school, it makes me feel like a fool.
It makes me wonder: do they mean to degrade?
I look around all the time, I see shallow minds.
It’s inspiration to write these rhymes
They choose our looks and our smarts, but where do I start?
I could write 100 songs just to complain

but, 
I’m Alright, I don’t mind, as long as I’ve got the music by my side
I’m okay, it’s a better day, as long as I get to hear the music play

I don’t know what I know
I’m confused and it’s starting to show (2x)

But I’d like to tell you one thing that I know, one thing that I’ve learned while walkin down this road. If you’ve got good people, keep them close, keep your heart at home, but let your soul roam. And let it go if it won’t matter tomorrow. Ask yourself: is there use in the sorrow? Life is a gift we should learn to appreciate, time moves quick, it’s been known to depreciate. Slow down! if you’re in a hurry. Soak up these jams and forget all your worries..
