If there was ever a waited-on collaboration in the African Electronic Music sphere it’s this one.  In the one corner we have Kaysha, the Kinshasa-born Zouk titan who relocated to France and eventually to Portugal where he is based. In the other sits Boddhi Satva whose storied upbringing also took him from Central Africa to his adult life in Europe. Both share a unique worldly outlook that affords them a unique profile of supporters between them from places as far afield as the Middle East to the Caribbean.

Both producers have circled each other in the many years spent cultivating a musical relationship.

And now that the time is right, the two reward their fan bases’ collective anticipation on Boddhi’s new album Transition with the song Mama Kossa. It’s a truly special occasion that warrants another first: Kaysha takes to the booth singing in his native tongue Lingala – something he has never done before.

From early in his career Kaysha learned how to seamlessly switch from genre to genre so conveying the ancestral message to a whole new audience will be effortless. A little closer to home, Martin Atjazz jumps on board to contribute a remix to Mama Kossa sure to delight fans of the luminary House DJ/producer, and of good music across the board.

What does Xe Mana Bella means? Xe (pronounced Che) is a word created by Angolans to call attention, convey admiration, exclamation, etc. Mana is a subjective word that is used to address an older person or even portray a woman. The song therefor tells the story of three gentleman (Boddhi Satva, Dj Satelite and Fredy Massamba) charmed by the stunning beauty and dancing skills of a stunning lady minding her own endeavours on the dance floor. The song tries to depict today's interaction between people of opposite sexes and how one hopes to get the favours of the other using different sets of seductive approaches to basic from natural, philosophical and material type.

Freddy Michael aka https://soundcloud.com/freddy-da-stupid born in Mozambique, is a talented young DJ/Producer who started his musical career in 2008. In 2012 he released his first ep entitled “Karee”, which led him to work with producers such as Homeboyz muzik, Guettoz muzik (Over 12 & E-jay), and more. With a bigger vision in mind he joined in 2014 a group entitled Mozambican Roots. Together they have released well acclaimed singles such as the remix of Banda Tabanka | DJ AZ entitled “Tira A Mao da Minha (Mozambican Roots Remix).

Here at Offering Recordings we are very proud to present the first release of  Abderrahman elhafid aka Mr. ID. Dj/Producer hailing from Casablanca (Morocco). Mr. ID's music was influenced by American Rap, Jazz, Funk, Moroccan and African music. His residency at Maison B one of Casablanca's finest venues gives ID a place of choice to spread his Sound to a fine and well versed audience. In 2016 Mr. ID released his music on labels such Kingdom Kome Kuts (UK), Latin Lovers Records (Pays Bas) and Now with us. 

Salat Al Nabbina has received special treatments by Copenhagen's own Nandu, German duo PCHK and Offering's own Sifa. The release is wonderfully rounded and will surely be another timeless piece.

On April 14th, 2015 Boddhi Satva went to Casablanca (Morocco) to work on a very particular and uniq project called Boddhi Satva meets Gnawa. 

This EP consists of four live recordings composed and recorded in Casablanca on April 21st, 2015. Each song represents a colour/spirit that will heal and elevate the souls through sounds and rhythms. The order of the song is highly meaningful and one couldn't come before the other as they have colours and spirits that are to come upon the listener and bring blessing in a very specific order. 

The main spirit/colour of Bania, Hamouda, Sandia & Zid Lmel is RED. Belma Belma is the combination of all the colours known and used for healing rituals. In Moroccan popular culture, Gnawas, are considered to be experts in the magical treatment of scorpion stings and psychic disorders through ceremonies. They heal diseases by the use of colours. They are originated in West Africa, more particularly, The Ancient Ghana Empire.

As we Just entered the new year 2018, we felt that there was no better way than doing so by giving you guy’s another Boddhi Satva production. This time Boddhi has teamed up with Soulstar who’s one of South Africa’s most respected and in demand vocalist since the release of his hit song with Black Coffee « You Rock My World ». It is while remixing the song that Boddhi got introduced to Soulstar’s music. It is only recently and through common friend Vanco that this collaboration was able to comme together and gave Life to Ivili.
Written and performed in Zulu by Soulstar, Ivili is a song about a man’s determination to overcome his financial situation and prove those who moke his financial situation.
Ivili has all the elements of an instant Classic and will surely find a place of choice in your playlist.

On December 2017 Boddhi Satva was invited by Haiti Roots, a Port-Au-Prince Based Eco Tourist Company promoting Haiti under it’s real and most authentic light. During this Journey Boddhi was able to connect with some of the Island’s most remarkeable artists such as Gardy Girault, Niska, Princesse Eud, Medji and Steven Baboun to name but a very few. 
During these 4 Days in Haiti and upon Boddhi’s request, an introduction to one of his musical heros James Germain was made possible at the Lovely Boutique Hotel La Lorraine. 
Boddhi has been a fan of James for as far back as 2006 and this encounter with the creator of Kreol Mandingue was a dream come true for the Ancestral Soul master. 
The result of this spirtitual connection between both artists is called « An Nou Ale » which is Haitian Kreol for « Let’s Go or Let’s Go Together ». The song is a calling to the Ancestors, a calling to save the Unity of Black and Brown people from Africa and African decent around the world. It is also a reminder for all of us to reconnect with our Divine feminine Energy. The song was recorded in three different countries with James Recording his vocals at Alex Finkin’s minimal Studio, Slikk Tim dropping his stunning bass line at his home studio in Paris (France), N’Faly Kouyate recording his Kora at Nathaniel’s Wav.designer studio in Brussels (Belgium), and Boddhi putting all the Magic together in Lisbon (Portugal). 

James Germain is a classicaly trained singer whom as a Child due to his Albinism used to be marginalised. But comforted by the love of his parents, none of these prejudices held him back from his passion for singing. A passion stimulated by those Voodoo chants that used to resonate in his neighborhood and enchante him as a Child. 
After meeting at 15 years old, Lina Mathon Blanchet the great lady of Haitian music. James will soon realize, that Voodoo is his true spiritual calling. A calling that was manifested through sounds and music. Fast forward to the years 2000’s and during a trip to Mali, James discovers the second love of his Life, Mandingue music. Due to his stunning ability to listen, learn and emulate the Malian griots (with whom he spent an extensive amount of time), James will soon master vocal their vocal techniques. 
Strengthened by these experiences, he created the Kreol Mandingue style for which he his now well known. 
Not only Mr. James Germain is a true ambassador of Haitian music throughout the world and a proud defendent of panafricanism values. James is also the father of a uniq sound never done before.
