Kicking off the first of many NoZzo Music free downloads, Napoli born artist Joe Vanditti delivers a rolling rendition of SAINt JHN's 'Borders' featuring iconic Grammy-award-winning artist Lenny Kravitz.

Turning a melodic and emotional hip-hop cut into a terrace tech stomper is no easy feat, but Vanditti swings for the fences with this edit. Punchy drums, shuffled hat grooves & rippling percs build the base of the track, whilst a bright synth rises above rhythmic sub-bass. The combination of SAINt JHN & Lenny Kravitz's standout vocals bring the track together, making for a 'hands-up, heads down' main room cut like no other!

Hypnostate's "Mind Control" is a curated compilation that marks the label's first edition, helmed by label boss Timmo. The 12-track collection features contributions from both core artists Balthazar &amp; JackRock, as well as 11 newcomers to the label.

Leading off the compilation is Timmo's "Let's Go Back," an energetic track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Balthazar &amp; JackRock's "Inner Vision" follows, delivering a mesmerizing blend of hypnotic beats and ethereal melodies.

Antonio D'Africa and Sall's "Constant-Q" is a proper peak-time weapon, with its driving rhythms and relentless energy. "Love 1952" by Stoked offers a different perspective with a nostalgic and emotional touch.

TimiR's "Back To The" and Bj&oslash;rnson's "Wrong Answer" both showcase the label's diversity and willingness to take creative risks. Ba&uuml;s &amp; Unlighted's "Infiltrate" and Masino's "Talk About Us" both deliver on the label's promise to bring new and exciting sounds to the techno genre.

"Your Love" and "Modulate" by TimiR and Jarrod Graeme respectively, show the label's ability to seamlessly blend different styles and influences. SUDO's "My Time" and Julian Mesa's "Esme" round off the compilation with a groovy and upbeat touch.

Bahrain based DJ & producer Julian Mesa comes correct with a punchy new two track single for TREGAMBE, ‘Voyager’. 

Julian invited Juliet Fox to play at one of his pioneering events in Bahrain. It was here that the pair formed the foundation of their strong friendship. Bonding over a mutual respect for flow and energy, it was inevitable that something fabulously creative would emerge. After hearing some of Julian’s production, Juliet quickly made his tracks a staple part of her sets, with the drop often being the big moment of the night. It was only a matter of time before their relationship would flourish further and under the light of the first super moon of 2023 the EP was finished. Energies have truly aligned, and it is with great pleasure to welcome Julian Mesa to TREGAMBE. 

‘Voyager’ will be Mesa’s third project of the year, following on from successful releases on Phobic and Hypnostate, and pulls together a brace of hypnotising and driver club tracks of the highest order!

This week’s #Select is brought to us by Julian Mesa, a Bahrain-based house and techno artist from Brooklyn, NYC. Growing up stateside in the ‘90s, Julian was exposed to a wave of what are now considered to be some of the most important records in electronic music history

The spinner has taken the decks in multiple local and international locations including Berlin, Bahrain, Las Vegas, Miami, Colombia and Tokyo, to name a few. 

This 60-minute set brings us a melange of Hardcore Techno, Acid and melodic mastery through fast-paced hard-hitting bass, intricate percussions, glitchy Arabic vocals and dark melodies. Some of the artists featured in the set include Jay Lumen, Victor Ruiz, Bart Skills and two original tracks by Mesa himself.

Herr Banna is the founder of @Studio1112; his musical journey is rather short but eventful. He is a very recent discoverer of techno, a self-taught DJ who set off to Dj-ing in April 2019. And by August that same year he started Studio 11.12 as a non-profit platform hosting 'Listening Parties,' now a series of curated underground raves. His techno sound is rather eclectic, treading both realms of raw and driving techno, and is almost always deep and hypnotic. In his sets, he tends to explore the polarities of emotions such as light and darkness, mystery and joy; all in an attempt to take the listener through an emotional journey. His work is in ceaseless evolution as he continues to explore the wide range of techno sounds that appeal to his ear.

Herr Banna has proved himself through his mixing skills and selective approach to sounds; he has also built himself a strong portfolio of recorded sets, and played at the Hatch club in Dubai, and Dawaran Music Festival in RAK, in U.A.E. all within his first year of DJ-ing.

Looking back, growing up to the musical notes of his dad playing Oud - the traditional Arabic stringed musical instrument - with single songs stretching to extents of one hour at times; Herr Banna always thought he had a good ear for music but only at this age did it all materialize into a true musical passion.

Welcome Herr Banna

Herr Banna, whose first name is Michael; is a DJ from Jordan currently based in Abu Dhabi - UAE, where he co-runs ‘Studio 11.12’ and works as an Urban Designer/Planner.
His knowledge of techno began in 2018 after being to one of Europe’s largest music festivals and visiting Berlin’s finest techno clubs in the summer of that year. Immediately, he found himself very passionate about techno, first as a listener, and soon after as a DJ - who remains self-taught. 
Shortly after he started DJ-ing, in the summer of 2019 he founded 'Studio 11.12' as a non-profit electronic music platform hosting 'Listening Parties' - a series of curated underground raves. He also curates a weekly podcast series labeled ‘Studio 11.12 Flights’ which is released on the platform’s Soundcloud page.

Self-taught DJ, discovered techno in 2018 in Berlin, started DJ-ing and became the proud daddy of @Studio1112 in 2019. Captured by the pulsating rhythm of techno and the extremely non-judgmental, widely inclusive, and very self-expressive culture incubating it.

Palestinian blood, Jordanian bred, Abu Dhabi based, Berlin-bound.

Founded Studio 11.12 as a platform that curates a series of raves labeled 'Listening Parties', and he currently curates the mix series ‘Studio 11.12 Flights’ hosting a selected array of artists from around the world.

His journey with sound is yet another story; still hunting for the haunting one. Along the lines of deep and hypnotic, and yet to find the right groove!
