A paradise of long sandy beaches lay beneath the feet of fortresses from a bygone age. Arab, Christian, and Roman stories have played out in Palma de Mallorca, above the turquoise waters of the Bay of Palma. It's here, in this historic layer cake that David Carrillo was born and bred. His attraction to music came from a young age and deepened from year to year, as he cut his teeth in the studio, and in the booth of local pubs and parties. His prowess as a producer is now only matched by the myriad of aliases that he has amassed over the years. A restless musical soul whose creativity strives for true representation. As Difid he curates the infinitely groovy Parsatik imprint. An outlet for his devastating dancefloor bombs that heave and sigh with energy and poise. Alongside this, he's released under both DCP & Dakpa. Laying claim to releases on well-respected labels such as @Sukhumvit-Records, @CurteaVeche, @MulenRecords, @AMAM-2 & @Caph-Records... and the list goes on. This amongst his co-founding and continued contributions to all-star producer team @Befogmusic. 

It's clear that a talent of this magnitude has creative energy like few others, and it's a true pleasure to host Difid on our series.

Gyres, on his real name Adrien Vullo, started mixing in Romania in 2013 and co-founded the experimental label ESITU records upon his return to Lille, France in 2016. Since then, he has been experimenting with field recording and live performance with the Fragments project, and hosting the hybrid radio show 194 FAR, which blends literary chronicles on science-fiction and their musical reinterpretations on Station station, the web radio of the French club La Station. Lately, he has been curating breakbeat/minimal/abstract/tech-house playlists derived from an imagined setting or situation.

For this new episode of Schmaus, we are delighted to have Argentinian DJ and producer Nicolas Bouzas with us. After attending many parties, his attraction to electronic music became stronger and that’s when the deep house captivated him and inspired him to become a musician. He started producing his own sounds using all the tools available in order to innovate and create original deep house tracks. In time, his musical preference changed and he became attracted to the elements of experimental minimal music, so he started capturing the sounds of nature and mixing them with his deep foundation.
