We kick off 2022 with the return of the NZ giants Norman Foreman to Kingpin. Norman Foreman is taking over the New Zealand Drum & Bass scene, a multi-genre music label purely devoted to NZ artists and DJ’s. Norman Foreman has involved Kiwis nationwide, allowing artists of all stature a platform to showcase their work. Their next release comes from Donny, hot off his latest release, "How Many Times" Norm’s second most popular track, following up strong, is Kingston Dub, the first track on Donny’s two-track EP, paired with the second track Electromotive; this EP is not one to miss.

Greetings, earthlings!
I have come to you from the distant future of "a few years from now"! All the cars can fly now, everyone has got at least one mechanically-enhanced body part and, of course, everything is chrome now! Since sentient Artificial Intelligences took literally all of our jobs, even the DJs', I thought I'd return back to this year to spin you some tunes again. Of course I forgot my USB with all the hottest future bangers back in the DeLorean, but luckily I still remember all the names of the artists that were filling the stadiums all over the world. Before the AI took over, that is. So I went out to your archaic online stores and bought myself a bunch of tunes from these Headliners Of Tomorrow™️, as you might call them. This mix is the result of that!

Alright, enough storytelling for now. Sound-wise this one is basically a typical Dancefloor-Neuro mix, with one crucial limitation: I was only allowed to use music by artists that aren't too big yet or that I simply feel deserve *way* more attention than they currently receive. A Hidden Gem™️ mix, so to speak. Big shout-out to the incredibly underrated labels YANA Music, High Tea Music, High Resistance and LUX Music, who are responsible for releasing most of the tracks that I used for this.
