My husband and I were talking about things that can happen in a family.  We've both lived through it.  The bottom line is, keep that connection open to the Most High God, honor Him in all you say and do.
Don't let something come between you and a loved one. Don't let gossip get hold of your tongue, and discourage it in others. At the very least, pray for them daily.
