G-member - The Hardclassics pre-mix part XII

Cara A del 'PuCHO - The Fussion', con el tema principal 'I'm Like a Bird'.

Producido con Boti & Supru, XQUE Records, año 2003.

Este fué el segundo disco que producí con Boti & Supru, dos chavales de Lleida que por entonces empezaban en el mundo de la producción de la música mákina. Se trata de un cover del tema con el mismo título de Nelly Furtado.

Tuve la suerte de que el tema saliera por la XQUE Records, nuevo sub-sello en plena efervescencia de Bit Music (Divucsa) ya que hacía poquísimo que había aparecido. Fué el segundo disco nacional, sin contar los producidos por la propia discográfica, que se editaba por ahí (el primero fué el Pildo - Space Base). Sinceramente, me sorprendió muchísimo que este disco saliera por ese sello, no lo esperaba.

Está claro que no es la mejor producción de la historia, pero indudablemente tenía algo que enganchaba :) Este tema fue muy pinchado durante ese año, sobretodo en la discoteca XQUE de Calella de Palafrugell y en la mayoría de actuaciones de Pastis & Buenri en todo el país. También se puede considerar como el primer himno del foro makination, ya que coincidió su salida al mercado con la explosión de esa página web, hoy ya inexistente.

Un recuerdo imborrable es ver a toda la pista llena de la discoteca Coliseum BCN agachada durante el segundo subidón :)

Apareció en los recopilatorios 'Alta Velocidad' (Bit Music, España, 2003) y '900% Makina' (Wagran Music, Francia, 2003).
