Sideshow Beats is a raw, original beat tape crafted by youth from San Mateo County through Today’s Future Sound’s therapeutic beat-making and Hip Hop production workshops.

These tracks showcase the students’ creativity, resilience, and growth—built from the ground up with drums, samples, and original sound design. Guided by TFS instructors, these young beatmakers learned not just how to make music, but how to tell their stories through sound.

From boom bap to experimental textures, Sideshow Beats reflects the energy, emotion, and voice of a new generation stepping into their power.
