Particles is a composition formed by masses of sonic molecules which coagulate and unfold in space; a stream of textures dynamically evolving through perturbations and developing dazzling, blazingly intense climaxes.

Realized over two years, Particles is Stigma’s attempt to engage himself in a compositional form – that of textural ambient drones shaped by artists such as Tim Hecker and Pan Sonic – whose flourishing requires an extreme attention to details. Indeed this piece displays a carefully refined control of dynamic and spectral movements, deploying a constant evolution of spatiality and emotional intensity. From a meticulous construction of microcosmic elements, a larger image of blossoming kinetics arises.

The album is complemented by a swift rework by NU_Tao, where the whole narrative of the original composition is condensed and projected in an interior dimension, made of subtle gestures and breathtaking progressions. What was a dense mass, now is transmuted in a sparse, intimate counterpoint of mental imageries.
