The clues were all there hiding in plain sight, and records now show there is a family connection between WF Hudson aka the "artist" and Henry Hudson, the explorer, as daft as that sounds. A direct link, or so my research suggests. But who were the people who made the discovery happen, apart from the obvious? Well many from Orkney for one, and this piece is dedicated to them. But Lerwick's not in Orkney, it's in Shetland. For all I know Shetland too played a part in the great discovery.
