It has been a long time since I have done this. My last rap album was in 2011 with Sid. Since then I have made plenty of songs, but when it came time to share them I did not have the energy. Life gave me too much to carry and music fell to the side. My computer filled with songs no one ever heard.

Lansford is part of that collection. Produced by me and ostubash, it came from countless nights sending beats back and forth and chasing the perfect sound. I wanted to capture what it feels like to grow up in a small town like ours. Playing basketball in courts surrounded by forest. Walking laps around the football field on a Friday night. Singing in Joe Ogozalek’s class in the old middle school basement. Skateboarding around town with dreams of a Franklin Klock deck.
