“Lost in Paradise” tells the story of Detroit rapper B Free transcending his Menace persona -- established in his first solo project titled “Motor City Menace” -- and developing a new, unique sound with his breakout track “Platinum Plus”. From entering the Detroit urban hip hop scene with his menacing flows and ominous sound (developed through the production capabilities of his brother and producer, Prod.byBert), “Lost in Paradise” is a proclamation of his new sound as he enters the music scene on a nationwide scale. The six-track EP highlights the artistry that goes into this project - from the versatile, hard hitting flows on “Young OG” to the ominous darkness reminiscent of his “Motor City Menace” era on the track, exclusively produced by Prod.byBert, “Did the Most”. The project is carving out the initial foundation of B Free’s musical career as one that is in a separate lane from other emerging hip hop stars. As B Free enters this new Paradise with his newfound sound and artistry, “Lost in Paradise” is a musical metaphor of the artist’s journey through this emerging spotlight as he combines his original Menace persona with his new sound.
