For Week 1 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in NYC with ON Top by the legendary Susanne Bartsch. Today is W. Jeremy

W. Jeremy is a New York-based DJ, producer, and founder of Get Up Recordings, whose roster has included Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson, Alinka, Eli Escobar, The Carry Nation, The Blessed Madonna, and Bianca Oblivion.

Early in his career, he worked with Tony Humphries on launching the Yellorange label before relocating to San Francisco for a five-year residency at The End Up. Back in New York, he’s since produced and collaborated with JD Samson, The 2 Bears, Tom Stephan, and Larry Tee, and held residencies at venues including Marquee NYC. 

He’s played the P.S.1 Warm Up series and currently holds a residency at Susanne Bartsch’s On Top party at The Standard, NYC.

This mix blends digital and vinyl tracks collected over the years — from deep archive cuts to brand-new finds. It captures the later side of On Top: heavy on the tech, heavy on the queer, and heavy on the fun.

For Week 3 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in Chile with Fiesta Dame. 

Camilo, aka Nsperger, is a DJ based in Santiago de Chile and a resident at DAME. Soon to release his debut EP, he’s played across Latin America and abroad, with appearances at Basement NY, Brutal México, Baum in Colombia, Fagot in Argentina, Boiler Room, DGTL, Creamfields and more. His sets move like films—dark and heavy in parts, with moments of atmosphere and a slow build toward queer, euphoric chaos. 

Rooted in punk, acid and 90s-flavoured analogue sounds, he’s shared line-ups with Kittin, Ellen Allien, Freddy K, Bashkka, Kancheli, Ndrx, u.r.trax, Boris and others he looks up to. He’s currently preparing for his first European tour, with dates at Whole Festival, Gegen/Pornceptual, Bassiani and other spaces focused on queer and dissident visibility.

This set was recorded at home and mastered by Daniela Fuzz. It steps away from peak-time energy to explore something more ambient and introspective, with a nod to the time he first fell in love with techno—anchored by a Norman Nodge remix he couldn’t stop playing back then.

House music carries history. Born from resistance, it was shaped in underground spaces by Queer and BIPOC communities who needed somewhere to let themselves be free from the oppressed world they were living in. Some of my favourite tracks come from the late 80s and 90s, not just because of the production but because of the soul and passion behind them. These were tracks made with heart and purpose and this mix is rooted in that legacy.

The mix opens with a tribute to the AIDS epidemic with an acapella from the Latour “People Are Still Having Sex track followed by a homage to ballroom culture, both were pivotal to the history of dance music and the spaces we find joy in today. I often use samples from queer archives, not just for nostalgia but to  honour those who came before us.

Many of the tracks I chose are deeply personal, tied to special moments with loved ones or flashbacks to being on the dancefloor. I want this mix to be a bridge between generations: a reminder to the younger ones, especially those of us who benefit from the freedoms that were fought for, to educate ourselves on where this culture comes from. The fact that we can do what we do today is not by chance.

While it’s reflective this mix is also a love letter to the future, a reminder that we don’t just chase the future, we carry it with us.

Lunchbox Candy is a space where people of all ages across the queer spectrum come together and celebrate. This Pride, I hope we continue to treat each other with respect and care. Queer people already face enough from the outside world, our community should be a place of love, not harm.

Let’s never forget the importance of queer dancefloors, especially in times like these, they are sacred!
