This mixtape is entitled "Future In The Past" which shows artists Ha-Style, Skinny, & K-Ro versatility on these "old-school" beats. Both born in 1987, William Haile and Justin Walker didn't realize within the next 14 years they would become a dynamic duo. Fairmont Heights High School located in Capitol Heights, MD up the street from both their hometown of Seat Pleasant, MD, year 2001 began the marking of an era and new generation of Hip-Hop/Rap. Ha-Style (William Haile) and Skinny (Justin Walker) met during a Freestyle battle where Skinny jokingly said "i wear my K-Swiss". Classmates laughed and hyped up the infamous line. The two laughed about it but little did they know how serious their passion for music was. In 2003 Ha-Style was introduced to a local Label called Mafia records at the time, and given his prior experience listening to Skinny during freestyle cyphers skinny was recruited to the label. Various tracks were completed between the two but their was never a platform given. As months passed the two were excluded from the label for reasons still unknown to this day. They decided to for a team of their own. Early 2004 The called themselves "Tha Hustlaz", but even though to some their name had the perception of a drug dealers lifestyle they made it clearthat everything you do in life is a hustle whether u work two jobs or work the corners to support your family and make ends meet. Numerous tracks and open- mic events were on the list for "Tha Hustlaz" during 2004-2005. A hiatus between the two was in process as both realized they'd be attending separate Universities. Ha-Style attended the University of Maryland Eastern shore while Skinny attended Elizabeth City State University. The hours between the two took its toll. During this time music wasn't as big of a factor. 2007 was a confusing years for both parties where it seemed that their path towards music and super stardom was completely cut off. The drive for music the two once had seemed diminished. Conversation after conversation began to spark the fire to the passion they had for music. May of 2008 the team was back doing what they love. Back together and stronger than ever, years went by until William Haile decided to start their own label C.E.O Entertainment. They realize that Currency does Equal Opportunity. "Without money and being able to invest in yourself, you won't be able to receive the advantages & opportunities of the game." The team continues to put forth a tremendous effort to be the best at what they do. Picking up K-Ro along the way from the Southeastern part of Washington, DC the team builds to become a strong force within the Hip-Hop/Rap music industry. Soon enough, C.E.O Ent. will become a household name.
