charmz is an electronic and dubstep producer from Toronto, Canada. She has been playing piano and guitar since the age of 8 and started producing music in 2015. Charmz uses Ableton as her software. Her music has a sharp metallic rough edge while simultaneously incorporates melancholic  or upbeat meolodies and intros. She also uses many glitches in her music. Charmz's weird and eery sound comes from many inspirations including Amon Tobin, REZZ, Pink Floyd, Tipper, Excision, Monxx, David Bowie, Gorillaz, Deadmau5, Porter Robinson and many more. Charmz grew up without her mother and father and was raised in a foster home in Toronto. She had spent most of her childhood alone and pondering the wonders of music. at the age of 16, she got a job at a restaurant to raise money to buy herself a laptop and software so she could produce electronic music. Charmz is currently studying biomedicine at University of Toronto while creating her music on the side.
