Danaka was going through a really dark time when she wrote locked up with Shugarboy over a year ago. She went to him with this concept of being "locked up" inside. This was reality for her. She wanted to express how she was feeling, but also write something so people going through that same feeling could relate and find their voice as well. 
This has been in the works for almost and year and since beginning has also incorporated Supa Dan on the bridge and the The old school guitar from TZM!
