"Dear Diary" is the debut EP by multi-genre recording artist Darian, released on September 30, 2014. This EP is stamped with a diverse musical style that incorporates hip-hop, R&B, neo-soul, pop, and elements of electronica. Its songs are loosely structured and feature electronic guitar sounds, synths, drums and smooth piano melodies. The EP, "Dear Diary" features the story of a womans introspection told through her diary entries. The EP also features a blend of lyrics and spoken word that revolve around relationships, life lessons, and philosophies.
