I’ve always been into the Hip Hop genre, but when I heard Underground Hip Hop for the first time, I fell in love! I must have been about 15 years old. One can’t imagine how quickly my life was changed in a positive way. I got instantly hooked on lyrics that spoke the truth and lyrics I could relate to. I wanted to tell my story and produce lyrics that would have the same impact on others. Underground Hip Hop is often characterized by socially conscious, positive, or anti-commercial lyrics; however, there is no unifying or universal theme that includes the struggles affected by politics, the system, racism, inequality and the struggles within current day society. The deeper I dug into the culture and the history of Hip Hop the more I found myself in a world I wanted to be a part of, so I found my purpose in life and I found where my passion truly.., and so…., the Dark Ninja Assassin was born to continue a great tradition the way it was originally intended for, REAL RAP!!
