Suze steps into Room II for it's fifth release & Suze’s debut EP.  

Each track on the EP is inspired by an existing piece of functional architecture in either Sheffield or Bristol. 

In his own words - ‘I wanted to view the structures not as practical, functional objects but rather from a purely aesthetic standpoint, as sculptures almost. 

I tried to evoke certain physical characteristics of the structures. The static and repeating shapes found in the structures with looping melodies, or the hard and unnatural materials they’re made from with rough synth timbres.’

Produced in the depths of quarantine and finally slated for release, Majorettes’ new single “The Waves”. Born from a journey inspired a documentary on the art of sampling, the track was an ongoing project which became a lifeline for Majorettes throughout the long days of the pandemic in the absence of playing out and organizing parties which are so core to the group and the wider Brooklyn house scene they are figureheads of. 

Enlisting three rising peers and producers to rework their original, the trio have curated a stellar EP package to soundtrack fall 2022 and beyond, with some of the most exciting and ones to watch talents in the international underground house scene hailing from Mexico, Colombia and Brooklyn respectively. 

Por Detroit resident and Mexico City upstart Kodemul, delivers a body shaking, exhilarating rework pumped full of energy, rhythmic swirls and fills, and a spell-binding breakdown worthy of any dance floor. “We were blown away by Kodemul’s style and production from the moment we met and many of his tracks have become staples in our sets recently so it was only fitting that we got him on board for this project”. 

Colombian artist, producer, and DJ, ELO, also know as Leeon, is an integral part of Medellín’s dance scene as well as the American underground at large. His rave brake with such grace that it feels extremely fresh and like an old friend at the same time. “While hanging out in the field at Glasontbury’s Block9 this past summer nerding out over each others new productions we knew it would be perfect to have him bring his impeccable style to “The Waves”. 

Brooklyn-based artist PH Balanced takes “The Waves” into an ethereal realm with bubbling vocal effects, pungent pads, and plenty of twists and turns that are smooth, sexy and surprising all at once. “Everyone always ask to hear the PH Balanced remix over and over, you just don’t want it to end. He has such a unique presence in our scene here as both a dj and producer and we can’t wait for the world to soak up his brilliance”.

Paurro lives with three bitches (female dogs). One of them is called Gala and she’s black from head to toe. In dreams she’s a raver that takes different shapes on the floor as “Techno Gala”, or in drag as “Galaxia”. In these visions, a friend of Paurro baptised her with the name: “Galavisión” - that night when she played for the first time alongside Matías Aguayo in Zipolite. This random memory of a perfect night gave name to this EP, which is 100% inspired in Gala: an aerodynamic monster full of joy!

Rave Soup
This soup (or are we talking about a stew?) includes all essential elements for the much-missed rave experience! Its fundamental ingredient is a stir - fried bass line, to which finely chopped breakbeats are added, plus braising kicks, hi hats and snare drums until golden and crispy - then finally adding a gallon of ambient broth - and letting the soup on the hot stove to boil constantly at the perfect temperature until ready with the next mix.

Our first Sorry Records release of 2023 arrives via Nowadays and Mister Saturday Night/Mister Sunday co-founder Eamon Harkin 🪴 Four cuts of tunneling home hardware techno and deep machine jack from Northern Ireland-born, NYC-based producer/DJ/all-around luminary of the New York City dancefloor.

A bold celebration of intergenerational NYC dance music love too! Featuring remixes that run the gambit from the deep bass synthesis of All Centre co-head and rising Brooklyn bass star Sobolik to the signature sharp 2-Step and groove-heavy Purpose Maker style techno of Sorry Records family Escaflowne (Haus of Altr, Fixed Rhythms) -- two young producers that we find ourselves sharing the Nowadays dance floor with on a frequent basis.

Old Sage EP builds on Harkin’s rather prolific recent output that has seen stellar releases on labels we love such as Oklahoma City vinyl outfit Fixed Rhythms, Hollick and Seb Wildblood’s London-based Coastal Haze, and Eamon’s own Mister Saturday Night Records.

Omit Salem is part of the Callshop crew and co-host of the EJ Mañana Morningshow. Coming from Frankfurt, now based in Dresden and soon to be in Berlin. 

Beeing musically very versatile, he is not only a very good morning show host but also a great club DJ. For this show we played lots of percussive stuff, some dubby bass music and a few brand new club edits.

The Legendary DJ Amar is never afraid to go too deep, his emotive track selections are his own therapy.  Having grown up on the westside of Chicago (USA) with the eccentric combination of (House, minimal and techno) music… all which became infused with his own love for making his own underground tracks. Dj Amar ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. 

Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced unique beat with a Bangin KICK Drum...
