Welcome to the Official DJ Edge SoundCloud page, this is a brief story on how it's happened for me so far in the music industry and a little bit on how it all started.

So...about me, I was first introduced to the turntables by a friend of mine back in 1996 until I felt I was getting to grips with general mixing which is when I decided to buy my own turntables and a few UK Garage records. I started experimenting with different mixing styles and discovered I was improving with every session, these sessions happened frequently as a lot of my friends were all interested in DJ’ing too.

After a few years of getting to grips with it all and getting the chance to play out at a few venues I had my first pirate radio experience on Flair FM and then Rhythm FM playing UK Garage but things really took off for me in January 2004 when I was introduced to Mr Mak. He managed to convince me that I needed to be more versatile and open up to different genre's and the next thing I knew was that I was playing at the Official Brit Awards After party in 2004 at Kensington Roof Gardens, from there I became a resident at the Rainforest Café where I played every Friday at a night called Sugar until Saturday nights beckoned for me, I was given another residency at Rainforest Café, this time it was Spoilt For Choice that came calling and I duly obliged. Pure Silk at various venues followed from there and more performances at the Brit Awards in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Also during that time, I was working with Cerise Entertainment from 2006 of whom I acted as a resident DJ at all there events playing at various venues all around London. I also worked with Jonathan Lipman who arranges exclusive parties for the Brit Awards, MOBO's, OK Magazine, Lipsy and various other celebrity events. In 2009 I then became the Resident DJ/Music Manager at Potions as well as had the priviledge of playing at venues such as Aquarium, Merah, Embassy, Faces, Heaven, Living Room, Metra, No.5 Cavendish, Penthouse and Stanza to name just a few.

More appearances on various radio stations such as Touch FM, Phatbeats, Innacity FM, HightzLive and most recently, Pulse London.

2011 was possibly the best year to date with performances at events such as Garage Nation, Pure Silk, Twice As Nice and having the pleasure of performing alongside MC’s Kie, DT, PSG, Mighty Moe, Versatile and many more as well as being on the same line-ups as DJ’s such as EZ, Masterstepz, Fonti, Pied Piper, Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont and the Crazy Cousinz. I have also had the honour of performing with UK Artists Shola Ama, Kele Le Roc, Ironik, McClean, Donae’o and Giggs!

2012 was another rewarding year having started working with Joe Bloggs Promotions and long may it continue! 2013.....
