Phil:osophy is the collaborative project from Philth and Phil Tangent. Both producers share a love for the kind of rich, emotional musicality that shines throughout this classy two-tracker.

Their own take on deep, rolling soul has led to releases on labels such as Integral Records, Future Retro and Lunar Records. Intricate drum work, clever sampling and warm bass from two producers with a true appreciation of the deeper side of drum and bass.

The reflective vocals of “Guarded” meet a melancholic atmosphere that develops into deep bass and rolling percussion. By contrast, the bright sounds of “Old Souls” makes for the perfect pairing. As one of the first tunes written together by this meeting of Phils, we’re proud to include this as part of their debut release for Dispatch Recordings.

‘Observer’ was one of the most indulgent tracks on the original album - one of the ones that I love the most, almost because I knew it wouldn’t be a fan-favourite. Indi has taken the DNA of the original, taken a few BPM off the tempo, and made a groovy, raw, and chord-laden version that I’ve loved from the very first demo. She has turned in such a masterful job. The groove, the pads, the sub - she has smashed it.

Myth X Acid Lab - In Progress

Section's signature sound captures the essence of the underground, fusing timeless elements from the genre's roots with a modern twist. "The Bad House" EP serves as a sonic journey that delves deep into the shadows, exploring the uncharted territories of DnB.

The EP's title track, "Bad House," sets the tone with its haunting melodies and relentless basslines. Its infectious rhythm and meticulous attention to detail pay homage to the classic drum n bass sounds that once dominated dancefloors and left a lasting impression on the genre's faithful.

Section's collaboration with fellow Worthing-based artist Nu-Lo, titled "Wounded," adds another layer of depth to the EP. The track combines the artists' distinct styles, resulting in an intense sonic fusion that pays homage to the roots of drum n bass while pushing the boundaries of the genre.

Another gem, "What You Fear," showcases the captivating vocals of the talented Sofi Mari. Her soul-stirring voice intertwines with Section's masterful production, weaving a mesmerizing tapestry of dark energy and melancholic beauty.

One of the standout tracks, "Still Waiting," features the collaboration of Section's close friend and fellow artist, Outsider. The synergy between the two artists is palpable, as they skillfully blend intricate percussion with evocative atmospheres, creating an immersive half-time experience for listeners.
