The Tamworth native, and Soul Deep regular, comes through with another outstanding collection of Liquid magic.  With consistent releases on Soul Deep and Smooth N Groove, Payback has been creating a buzz with his stellar grooves and technical production skill.  The ‘Algorhythm EP’ kicks off with the title track, Algorhythm, which features perfectly syncopated and snappy drums, gritty mid-bass textures, and a rolling baseline that will move the masses.  “Echoes,” is up next and takes a slightly different approach.  The song is a bit more stripped back, featuring tough drums, a smooth rolling bass line, and growling mid-bassline that adds the necessary bit of edge to the tune.  “Talk Me Down,” is up next and features choppy breaks, pulsating basslines, floating pads, and gritty mid-bass textures.  The “Ganjababy” rounds things out with its shuffling drums, dirty bassline, and dubby effects that add to the texture of the song.  Payback’s signature sound shines through on the EP and provides his followers another piece of work to appreciate.  Check out the EP and get with the rhythm!!

We welcome back Tephra to Dispatch Limited for the Shift EP. Previously known by label fans for his work with long term production partner Arkoze, this release sees Tephra fully explore his own sound as he curates this 5 track EP, packed with his own production and selected guests.

As an aspiring producer Tephra turned to Nick Modern for advice when getting started, so it is fitting that the first track on this release see the two talented producers work with each other as peers, bringing us ‘Side by Side’ featuring the unmistakable vocal talents of Collette Warren.

The EP also features ‘Connection’ a collaboration with close friend Edison, the excellent Melysma Remix of the classic Tephra & Arkoze track ‘Instinct (ft Hillzy)’, and two solo tracks from Tephra – ‘Shift’ and ‘Eerie One’.
