Still, if I need to explain to you, house music lover, who SE62 is, you were probably doing something very serious in 2013-2018, because, you know, “True Force” … It was impossible to miss it through those years. But, even without that mega-successful track, SE62 and his raw, dirty, almost boom-bap house sound did a lot of work so I could call him well-known. While a music maker at heart, JV also has a passion for hearing conservation. In 2012, JV founded Frequency Effect, a charity organization with three core goals: educate the music community on how to protect their hearing, support a cure for hearing loss through fundraising events, and share a love for deep electronic music with the world. Recent successes of the charity include a Red Bull Music Academy sponsored tour through the US which featured cutting edge artists and generated over $10k for research.
