KG Dot, formally known as G Dot, is a Jamaican Dancehall reggae pop artiste and songwriter that hails from Mavis Bank, St. Andrew.   
Born Conroy Witter,  on December 30,, KG Dot says he has always been musically inclined but only decided to take his career serious two years ago.
The versatile artist says he chose a name to describe who he is as an individual: King, Great, Determined, Outspoken and Talented.
It was while attending The Springfield High School that he realized his passion for music and made it a priority to secure a career in the field.
Even though his education was his main priority at the time, the young artiste could not help but to deejay as a fun pastime. 
After high school, KG Dot diverted from the path of becoming a professional chef to master his musical craft.
In 2011, he created his own record label called Free Your Mind Recording Inc, where he released his first  professional song titled “Mr. Flossy Floss”. Earning a reasonable amount of airplay, KG Dot felt his big break drawing nearer and decided to release a next track called “ Missing You”.
In 2014, the proficient artiste organized and carried out a small promotional tour which included performances in various New York Clubs.
