It's another label debut for Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records this November from American DJ and producer duo Max Styler and Kyle Walker who team up to deliver their brand-new single, 'Give It Up'. Toolroom are immensely proud to welcome the Chicago legend, Green Velvet, back to the label as he locks horns with Toolroom founder Mark Knight and studio partner, James Hurr, for ‘The Greatest Thing Alive’. A low slung, chunky affair that screams Miami Space terrace at 8am! Quirky, full of character and Green Velvets unmistakable vocal re-work of the classic ‘Mannish Boy’ from Muddy Waters pushes this record into a really special place.

Green Velvet debuted on the label back in 2015 alongside Technasia with ‘Suga’, a record that went onto to be an overall Beatport #1 and remained as their highest selling track for many years that followed, the track also sits on an impressive 9m streams.

A very exciting collaboration here as 2 of the scene’s brightest shining new stars join forces! Both are enjoying huge success with massive collabs alongside the likes of Low Steppa and Matt Sassari, achieving fantastic results across Beatport and streaming platforms. 

Later in the year the boys are stepping up to the decks together for us in Miami, London, LA and Vancouver as we build them into their special B2B US tour in November. Having been die-hard Toolroom fans for many years, this record actually came about during a conversation about old Toolroom records, and how they collectively wanted to emulate that slightly progressive tech house but bring it right up to date. And they have certainly done that! 

A real peak-time dance floor moment here with insane production and a unique, intense build up that is already causing maximum mayhem!

Following previous impressive releases on Crosstown Rebels and sister label Rebellion, Armenian talent DAVI presents another fine display of his artistry on the spellbinding Lie Machine. Hot UK pairing Gorgon City bring their distinctive energetic brand of house to the remix.

Lie Machine opens with a delicate rhythm of bongos, combined with an undercurrent of murmuring bass and deep piano chords. The tension is built, before the introduction of DAVI’s soulful vocals and glistening synth, telling a melodic and emotive story of heartbreak.
