First NBA game I ever saw was Nuggets Vs. Pelicans in 2018. Ive always loved the game of basketball and seeing them all play that night, getting an assist from Isaiah Thomas while waiting for the high five line, it was one of the coolest and most inspiring moments of my life.
I went on to watch Jrue Holiday get 9 assists. It was awesome to see them play well together and dish the ball out to each other. When I wrote this song I was really going through it, I had made some bad decisions and I just kept praying and praying for a win. I knew Jrue Holiday had something great coming and right after I wrote the song he got traded to the bucks. I was ecstatic! I knew I had written something into existence because he went on to win the 2021 NBA Championship. It was truly crazy to see how much power my words held. Obviously props to Jrue one of the hardest workers, best defenders, and best male role models out there. He definitely worked hard and deserved the championship!
