This is going to be my favorite track for a long time

I am proud to bring you guys my second single "Sleepless Nights", co-written by myself and the lovely & talented Lauryn Vyce (who many of you might remember from mine, Jinco and Jaykode's cover of "CRUSH")

I have never been happier producing this new sound that I feel is 100% organic to me and my instincts.. it feels so good and it feels so good knowing I have so much more to show you guys (coming in the next 2 weeks AGAIN!)

[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the twenty-first release of Launch Records. We would like to introduce you Deewe with his release called ‘Go Back’. You may haven’t heard anything about Deewe, that’s because Deewe is a DJ who has his first release ever. Deewe focussed first on developing his own signature sounds, then he started to learn more about mastering and mixing songs. We of Launch are honored to have the first official release of Deewe. The song Deewe produced is a funky kind of track, we haven’t got this style before on Launch, but we were enjoying this track so much that we wanted to release it. 

The song starts with a guitar melody with funky chords under it. After a while, a bass-instrument is joining the two sounds together with a vocal. When the vocals are changing at a faster tempo the piano play is also changing at a faster tempo. This is the build-up of the track.

In the drop you hear the characteristic style of the track, this gives the track so much atmosphere. During the drop, you get a flashback to the old days. On top of that, we love it when real instruments are used in songs and Deewe adds different real instruments.

All the aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We can already say that ‘Deewe’ will be releasing more of his songs, in the same style but also in different styles, really soon. So, you definitely need to keep an eye on him because he’s about to conquer the electronic dance music scene.

ShyGhy has made a real name for himself under the Smash Deep umbrella, and he drops his latest work on the Smash The House sister imprint, in the form of ‘Feel Good’ featuring Akacia. Smash Deep has quickly established itself and its ethos as a label through a series of deeper releases, including ShyGhy’s previous singles ‘Get High’ and ‘Find Home’, which also featured Akacia, and the pair clearly have an impressive cohesion in the studio, as ‘Feel Good’ is a refined cut that is arguably their best collaborative work to date. 
Background vocals drenched in reverb create an ethereal vibe, setting the tone in expert fashion and working with Akacia’s lead vocal. The beat is a stuttering affair, with all the elements sidechained against the punching kick. This is all underpinned behind a raw bassline that keeps the track moving forward throughout. 
ShyGhy has made an impressive start on his journey, gaining early support from label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, while Akacia can count Dyro and ODESZA as fans. On ‘Feel Good’, the pair combine to great effect as they further solidify their standing in the electronic music world. Grab a copy of ‘Feel Good’, out 18th September via Smash Deep!
