Revealed mainstay Dannic is taking things back to his underground roots with his latest single ‘Fonk’. Built around dirty synth riffs, gritty basslines, and even some moody string stabs, ‘Fonk’ is a techy electro anthem designed for darkened, strobe-lit clubs. But while it may be well suited to a packed underground dancefloor in the early hours, ‘Fonk’ still packs enough energy to get a peak-time festival crowd moving, with drops that should go hand in hand with some pyro-fuelled mayhem at mainstages across the globe.

Dannic has a busy summer ahead of him, with performances at Tomorrowland Brazil on May 2nd, Cologne’s legendary Bootshaus on May 29th, and the Revealed stage at Creamfields on Aug 28th to name just a few. ‘Fonk’ is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at all of them and is out for everyone else to grab a copy of on May 4th.

[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the sixth release of Launch Records. It is now Feylo’s turn with his unreal track, 'Devotion'!

The song begins with an ambiance piano which remains the main instrument of the break and gives you a nice feeling of what’s coming up next. As we get close to the drops we can hear more and more elements while the drop melody rises through the other sounds.

When the drop hits, a strong pluck together with a huge bassline creates this powerful result. Throughout the whole track, you can hear all the combinations that Feylo made with his unique arrangement.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to share with you our sixth release together with Feylo.

Riggi & Piros have been in a rich vein of form recently, and now they join forces with Dave Crusher & Jackmar, along with vocal talent Scarlett Quinn, as they bring the iconic ‘Dance With Somebody’ vocal line firmly into 2020 with their fresh update on the Whitney Houston classic. Dave Crusher has been building his name with standout releases on the likes of Spinnin’ and Hexagon, while Riggi & Piros have seen recent singles drop on heavyweight labels such as Spinnin’, Armada, Musical Freedom and Buygore. On vocal duties is Scarlett Quinn, who previously featured on hit single ‘Come Alive’ with Netsky, which has amassed just under 10 million streams on Spotify, as well as recent singles with the likes of Will K and Stanton Warriors, to provide the vocals on what is set to be an early track of the year contender. 

The iconic vocal, as expected, takes centre stage and is kept intact in the main, before morphing into a catchy sampled repetition. The lyrics are joined by a weighty bass on the drop, driving the track forwards as the vocal is pitched down midway through, giving a new take on the classic and bringing it into 2020 in style. 

Collectively, Riggi & Piros and Dave Crusher have been supported by some of the biggest names in dance music, including label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto, W&W, David Guetta and Headhunterz, and this new single, in collaboration with Scarlett Quinn, is set to eclipse previous successes and catapult all parties involved into the dance music stratosphere.
