The record “Super Somebody” may have themes we've heard before but the
real love is in the lyrics and in her wide range. Artist and producer mesh well
on finding a great meeting point in this song as well- neither lyrics, production,
nor vocals, draw each other out. Quite the contrary, each element of the record
comes alive and feeds off of the other for a beautiful musical experience.
Janeen brings R&B back to life with this single and I am anticipating the release
of her upcoming album.

SuperSomebody

Living in Virginia, home to great musicians like Timbaland and Missy, urban contemporary diva, Janeen, is currently on her way to musical eminence just like the aforementioned stars. She grew up in Hampton with a family full of musical talent and claims music to be her destiny. Janeen used her family’s musical genius as fuel for her passion and turned to classic urban artists Aretha, Mary, Faith, and the late Whitney Houston for inspiration. In 2009, Janeen decided it was time to release an album of her own but decided to scrap the project after realizing she wasn't able to fully utilize her creative potential. Months had passed before Janeen chose to once again pursue her dream of a solo album. She knew she needed to start from scratch and revamp her style. That spark of adjustment birthed new ideas, new material, and  her new album title Square One. The album is Janeen’s dream of pursuing her music as a solo artist and she hopes to empower her listener’s and have them realize their own dreams. The first single off of Square One is due this spring with an anticipated summer debut for the album’s official release. Janeen is working on her destiny and invites everyone with a genuine love for music to join her.
