Emerging UK Afrobeats artist Martel B has teamed up with stalwarts and veterans of UK Rap and Grime, Mr Bigz, Frisco and Young Spray, for the massive remix of his summer single “Badda Dan Dem”, produced by Malawian beatsmith Sean Focus, and set to be released on December 1 via Sagsco.
 
With three of the country’s most influential groups, Euro Gang, Boy Better Know and Northstar, all represented on this one track, you would be right to expect “Badda Dan Dem (Remix)” to be a collaboration of epic proportions - the reality though will exceed audiences’ expectations.
 
Mr Bigz and Young Spray take to the next level, the excellent form they’ve shown all summer, most recently with the Max Marshall-assisted “Soul Food” and “Amen” featuring Skepta respectively, while Frisco delivers a verse for the ages following his stellar appearance on Fekky’s “Still Sitting Here” all-star remix, and his latest banger of a single “Life”.
 
Following the rave reviews and critical acclaim the original “Badda Dan Dem” received across UK Afrobeats circles earlier in the summer, with support from BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra and the MOBO Awards among others, this heavyweight remix featuring three of the UK’s finest, is set to cause even more damage, and open more UK audiences up to the world and talents of East London native Martel B.
