After successful releases on Four Corners, Soulvent, Celsius, Glitch Audio, and Bay 6, Ben Rolo now brings his talents to the Soul Deep imprint.  From the opening bars of the title track, “Fall Into Place,” the listener is transported into a world of lush soundscapes, emotional melodies, and hypnotic percussion productions.  To say the release is ‘quality’ is an understatement, as it promises to be one of the classic Liquid EP's of the year.  Ben Rolo, is definitely one of the fastest rising stars in the Liquid Drum & Bass scene, and Soul Deep is proud to have him as a part of the family.   

The EP also features some other talented co-producers including R4NS0M, Fullalove, and Echo Motion.  Ben Rolo has picked the perfect collaborators to blend styles with, as each one of the songs takes on a sound of its own.  From the melodic piano chords of “Fall Into Place,” to the edgy mid basslines of “Sentient,” and the dark, emotive sounds of “Long Game,” the EP is absolutely breathtaking from beginning to end.  Ben Rolo, who hails from the south coast of the U.K. is definitely a producer to watch.  Please give him a follow on social media and keep up with all of his BIG productions! Dualistic – Brave ft. Ayve Dualistic & Zazu - Beauty

Andreas Ort, otherwise known as Dualistic, came to our attention through some solid uploads recently supported by Liquicity. Having fired over these two epic tracks a few a months ago, we had no choice but to share them with you! Originally from Germany, Andreas is now based in the Netherlands and has knocked up two massive tunes; 'Brave' featuring Ayve and teamed up with Zazu for 'Beauty'.
'Brave' kicks off with Andreas' signature uplifting melodic textures and a glitchy build-up to give way to a deep rumbling bass and punchy drum lick. Ayve's haunting emotive tones sit perfectly atop this summer roller.
Working with Leiden-based neighbour Zazu for the A/B side, the pair deliver a solid minimal roller in Beauty. Opening with a reserved half-time intro, the track builds slowly into a cliff-hanging drop which doesn't disappoint. A swelling bassline blends with a solid amen break, soaring pads dressing the high end and a spacey yet simple descending melody to top it all off. Soulvent deliver a solid package in their 15th release, sure to shutdown more than the odd dancefloor this summer.

The title track, “Mascot,” brings the darkness, with it’s grimy mid bassline stabs, chilly pads, and spooky speeches.  The second track, “Chemical,” is a beautiful vocal tune, that brings the beauty to the release.
