Professing themselves to be so wise
They became fools
They bowed to idols
Wherefore, God gave them up to their own desires
Men would lay with men
The world was filled with sin
Covetous, murderous, Back-biters, haters of God,
Boasters, inventors of evil things, traitors, proud, committed to fraud.
The wrath of God justified on those who would boast instead of repent.
Yet, God was willing to forgive
Through the Son that He sent.

Therefore, oh man
You who would judge
Who’s sins are greater than
By the same measure you mete,
The sentence you speak,
Will come back on your head again.
Or do you not know,
The goodness of God leads you to repent?
His mercy reserved for the low,
Those who would mourn on knees that are bent.
But, oh...
His mercy prevailed 
His Spirit keeps drawing
His love never fail
Will you come?
“Take up your cross and follow me,
I got the rest you need”
Then I cried out “rescue me!”
